Thomas Kim, M.D. is a board-certified radiation oncologist with Rush Radiosurgery and an Assistant Professor of Radiation Oncology at Rush University Medical Center.
Dr. Kim received his Bachelor of Science in biochemistry and molecular biology from Brown University, and his medical doctorate from the Warren Alpert Medical School of Brown University in Providence, Rhode Island. He completed his medical internship at Boston University Medical Center in Boston, Massachusetts, and his residency in radiation oncology at Northwestern Memorial Hospital in Chicago, Illinois.
Dr. Kim has been awarded numerous honors, held several leadership appointments, has been the principal investigator on national clinical trials and local research protocols, and has authored several publications in peer-reviewed publications.
He is a member of several professional societies including the American Society for Radiation Oncology (ASTRO), the American Society of Clinical Oncology (ASCO), the Radiological Society of North America (RSNA), the American College of Radiology (ACR), the American Brachytherapy Society (ABS), the American Medical Association (AMA), the Arkansas Medical Society, and the Chicago Radiologic Society.
In his spare time, Dr. Kim enjoys playing piano and tennis, watching movies, traveling, and cooking.
