Assistant Professor of Radiation Oncology
Parul Barry, M.D. is a board certified Radiation Oncologist at Rush University. She received her undergraduate degree at Wellesley College. She returned to her hometown in Louisville, KY to complete her medical school and residency training at the University of Louisville, where she served as Chief Resident.
Dr. Barry specializes in the treatment of breast cancer, gynecologic cancer, and melanoma. Her research interests lie in advancing both curative, palliative, and salvage treatment for cancer through stereotactic radiosurgery (SRS) and stereotactic body radiotherapy (SBRT). Dr. Barry is a member of the American Society for Radiation Oncology (ASTRO), the American College of Radiation Oncology (ACRO), the American College of Radiology (ACR), the American Board of Radiology (ABR), the American Society of Clinical Oncology (ASCO), and the American Brachytherapy Society (ABS).
In her spare time, Dr. Barry enjoys spending time with her family, exploring new restaurants, and traveling.
